Dan joined Fishel Hass Kim Albrecht Downey LLP directly after finishing law school in 2017, having previously served as the firm’s law clerk since 2016. His practice focuses on labor and employment law, civil litigation and insurance defense. Dan also advises employers regarding compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
Dan received his Juris Doctor degree in May 2017 from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November of 2017. While in law school, before clerking with FHKAD, Dan clerked at the State Employment Relations Board and the Franklin County Public Defender’s Office.
Prior to law school, Dan attended Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business with dual concentrations in Management and Marketing. While in school, Dan served as a reporter and columnist for the Enon Eagle Newspaper, Sports Editor for the Wittenberg Torch and interned in Human Resources at the Clark County Department of Job & Family Services.
On the Personal Side
Dan enjoys playing basketball in his spare time and is an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Cavaliers. He also volunteers at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus’ YWCA Family Legal Clinic.
